Most equipment for hunting ghosts can be bought at the beginning of the mission. There are a lot of viable options as to what to use, and the Ouija Board can be one of them.

Unlike the bought equipment, this item cannot be purchased at mission start. Instead, you have to find one in the mission’s place. This is unfortunate, but after all, not all ghosts react to a Ouija Board.

How to Use Ouija Board in Phasmophobia

It’s one of the most famous ghost hunting techniques that has been around for hundreds of years. It can be a scary endeavor and we all have messed around with it at a young age.

The basic premise is to establish communication with ghosts and spirits. You all hold the pointer and ask a question, and expect an answer from the ghost by choosing one of many letters to form words slowly but surely.

On top of the whole alphabet, there is also “YES” and “NO” on the boards, which makes it great for yes/no questions and communication.

This is how to use the Ouija Board if you find it:

Find it and set it in a good spot.
Put candles so you can clearly see it.
Ask questions using you microphone.

There are a lot of voice commands which will trigger a response. Look to ask generic questions at the beginning, and if you get responses, make your questions more specific.

This is one way you can communicate with ghosts in Phasmophobia, but not all ghosts will react to it. If you want to try other ways of communication, you can use the Spirit Box. Furthermore, the Spirit Box can be obtained at the start of the mission. Good luck!
