Joined Nov 24, 2008 Messages 4,011 Reaction score 35 My handphone have caller ID service, normally it will show my friends name (if I already save their contact) or show phone number e.g.98765432 when some is calling in. I saw an incoming call shows "Unknown" without any name/numbers at the place that usually display caller ID when a person calls in. What is it? I also saw before "Private Number", I guess those are normal because caller bought privacy service for their line. But what is "Unknown"? How did the caller show "Unknown" as caller ID? Is it from overseas or what big company? BTW, I missed the calls, so never answer. Thanks (update: I found out the Unknown call was from Samsung survey, they called again.) Caller called 3 times about few seconds apart, all 3 times also short rings, could this be spam call? I guess if real caller would make one time call and wait 20 to 30 seconds? E
