Born on September 19, 1993, Jordan Timothy Jenks, known professionally as Pi'erre Bourne, is a New York-based record producer, rapper, songwriter, and audio engineer hailing from Columbia, South Carolina.
Pi'erre has collaborated with the likes of Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, Travis Scott, Kanye West, and 21 Savage to name a few. His most notable production credits go to smash hits “Magnolia” by Playboi Carti and “GUMMO” by 6ix9ine.
Pi'erre first started working with East Atlanta artist and cousin of 21 Savage, Young Nudy. Pi'erre met him on the Eastside while engineering at Mad Studios. The first day they met, Pi'erre was nervous to play Nudy his beats. It wasn't until Nudy came up to him and said he should record him more often, then they started collaborating.
One of Pi'erre's most frequent and closest collaborators is Playboi Carti. Carti and Pi'erre met through K$upreme, Lil Yachty's brother. It started when Pi'erre gave K$upreme the beat to what is now Playboi Carti's hit song featuring Lil Uzi Vert "wokeuplikethis". After giving K$upreme the beat, Carti hopped on the song while in a session with K$upreme. After K$upreme told Pi'erre, he was originally upset because he was not informed before. Before Pi'erre knew it, the clip of Carti in the car was on the internet and already was going viral. After Carti hit up Pi'erre and showed respects, they made plans to cook up and Pi'erre was no longer upset. Afterwords, Pi'erre saw Lil Uzi Vert playing the song on Snapchat when Carti told him he was also on the song. Following, Carti started hitting Pi'erre up to come to the studio. Pi'erre said it "was weird because it was just that one song, and then we kept doing another song and he just kept adding it to the tape".
Pi'erre is most known for his producer tag which often plays at the start of some songs he produces that says "Yo Pi'erre, you wanna come out here? The quote samples an episode of The Jamie Foxx Show where Foxx is a waiter at a hotel restaurant and gets a complaint from a blind man eating at the restaurant, which is what causes him to call out for a fake chef named "Pi'erre" which he made up on the spot.
Simultaneously being a rapper, Pi'erre has released four installments of his The Life of P'ierre mixtape/album series, and is currently gearing up to release the fifth sometime in 2020.
