___ Pig (Chinese Zodiac)

Pig (Chinese Zodiac, in Chinese: 豬) is the twelfth sign of the Chinese zodiac.

A pig represents luck, overall good fortune, wealth, honesty, general prosperity, symbolizing a hard working, a peace-loving person, a truthful, generous, indulgent, patient, reliable, trusting, sincere, giving, sociable person with a large sense of humour and understanding. Born under the zodiac Pig, a person’s character might be naive, over-reliant, self-indulgent, gullible, fatalistic, materialistic.

Culturally pigs are considered very lucky creatures at birth. They are always well fed and allowed their ways. That is why many Chinese families look upon sons born under the zodiac of the Pig as having been fortunate. They always seem to have someone or other taking care of them.

Pigs are also said to be a sign of virility. Prominently displayed in the bedrooms of couples trying for children. This is said to be a natural offshoot of the fact that Pigs always have a huge litter of children.
