Minecraft's Pillager Outposts are generated structures manned by pillagers, and are easily identifiable by their large wooden lookout towers. While not as common as Villages, they can appear in any biome that a Village can, including Deserts, Meadows, Plains, Savannas, Snowy Tundras, and Taigas (as well as Snowy Taigas and Sunflower Plains in the Bedrock Edition). They can also appear in biomes Villages do not appear, including Groves, Frozen Peaks, Jagged Peaks, Stony Peaks and Snowy Slopes.

As implied by their name, Pillager Outposts are manned by seven Pillagers and one Raid Captain, who will attack you with their Crossbows. Clearing them out of the area does not prevent them from spawning back into the area: they do this based on light levels like monster mobs, making Pillar Outposts poor choices for converting into a home.

Pillager Outposts are one of the few places you can find an Allay, the other being Woodland Mansions. Allays, along with Stone Golems, are caged up on the ground, and so must be freed first. You can also find Dark Oak Logs, scarecrows, and tents made of White Wool Blocks.

  • Tripwire Hook
  • Wheat
