What are the PS5 console USB port types?
PS5 consoles have four USB ports that support different connection speeds and are compatible with different devices. PS5 consoles have two ports on the front and two ports on the back.
Check model numbers PS5 consoles (CFI-2000/7000 model group)Front USB ports
- USB Type-C® port (Hi-Speed USB).
- USB Type-C® port (SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps) *.
Back USB ports
- 2 USB type-A, SuperSpeed USB (10Gbps).
* PS VR2 must be connected to this port.
Please note, the design of the console varies depending on the model. This example uses a console from the CFI-2000 model group.
