In compliance with NTC M.O. 10-10-2017, all telephone numbers with (02) code in Metro Manila; Rizal Province; San Pedro, Laguna; and Bacoor, Cavite will update its hotline to eight digits. In case you missed it, NTC issued a Memorandum Order directing all telcos to shift 7-digit hotlines to 8-digit landline numbers. This move is to make room for more assignable exchange codes. Spread this news to your friends! Update: Starting October 6, 2019, all 7-digit landline numbers with area code 02 will become eight digits. For PLDT customers, just add 8 before the existing landline number. This is in compliance with the directive of the National Telecommunications Commission.
