Overview

The ProMediaGear PLND850 L-Bracket for Nikon D850 is made of aircraft-grade CNC machined aluminum. It fits the bottom of the camera precisely and is made of two parts.

The two-piece design is made so that the camera ports will remain accessible. The battery compartment is also free from any obstruction.

The PLND850 is arca-swiss compatible. This means it will work with any Arca-compatible clamps from other brands too.

Other features include extra safety stops, built-in allen wrench storage, and a detachable design. If ever you do not need the vertical part, you can just unscrew it and leave the base plate attached.

Exceptional quality and craftsmanship vertical attachment for the compatible bracket plate of the Nikon D850. Easy to use and intuitive assembly. Comes with proprietary screws, Allen key wrenches, drawstring carry bag and User Guide. This Made In The USA custom plate with attached L-Bracket's finish is of high quality and is a customized fit to my D850 body, which eliminates twisting & allows quick orientation from horizontal to vertical positioning when it's quickly needed. The plate & L-bracket's finish is beautiful and mechanisms are fully functional. It's lightweight yet strong and fits my Nikon D850 and Arca Swiss compatible ball head perfectly. Recommended.

I have 6 PMG L brackets for my Z5, D850 and D500, two for each camera (one each used with battery pack/vertical grips and one each without). That alone should say something. They are all very solid, precisely machined to PMG's very high standards. They fit my cameras perfectly and I love the built-in features: 1) magnetic storage for the allen wrench. 2) the slide out portion makes it even easier to access ports and position the camera vertically without interference from cables. I index marked the 2 rods with a silver pen so I can quickly and consistently reposition the upright portion of the bracket. 3) strap loops compatible with traditional straps and quick release designs, including Peak's wonderful straps. 4) QD/SSP strap ports making these even more versatile. PMG's L brackets are the first accessory I buy with every new camera.

quality is expensive, but pays back almost everytime, while going for the cheapest sometimes means you spend more, finding yourself in the position to buy a decent and working replacement.
