Pokéballs at the ready as Nintendo have released Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl for Nintendo Switch.

The two games are remakes of the 2006 Nintendo DS games Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl, where you explore the fictional region of Sinnoh, and strive to become the Champion of the Pokémon League.

The original story has been faithfully reproduced but the remakes will see vast improvements graphically and feature-wise, with new additions that include expanded minigames, Pokémon Hideaways and a new character customisation option.
