Ramanas Park

Ramanas Park is a new area in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl. This area replaces the Pal Park and can be found on Route 221 after you have completed the Sinnoh Pokédex and is different in that there are various caves dotted around the park. These caves allow for you to get Legendary Pokémon. To do that, you need to get special slates to then put into the pedestal to summon the Pokémon.

When you put the slates in the pedestal, you get transported to the Pure Space for Sub-Legendary Pokémon and the Strange Space for Legendary Pokémon. The Legendary Pokémon will have Hidden Abilities if they have one

When you have caught the Pokémon, you will also then get given a statue of them for your Secret Base in the Grand Underground.

Ramanas Park

Slates

The Slates are unlocked through a shop in the park that sells them in exchange for Mysterious Shards. These shards are found only by digging in the Undergound and the slates are unlocked in an order requiring you to complete the other rooms.

The Slates can't be traded and are used up regardless of if you succeed catching the Pokémon or not.
