Where To Find Shieldon in BDSP

How To Get Shieldon In Pokemon Shining Pearl. Shieldon is a Rock and Steel type Fossil Pokemon that evolves into Bastiodon, this Pokemon has higher Defense between the two exclusive Fossil Pokemon.

Location: Mining Museum

  1. Speak to the older man in the house next to the Pokemon Center in Eterna City to obtain an Explorer Kit.
  2. Go outside the building and select the Kit from the Key Items section of your bag; you will be transported underground.
  3. Shiny dots will appear on your map. Those are item locations, you will need to dig them up.
  4. Once you find the Armor Fossil, go to Orebergh City.
  5. Go to the Mining Museum and speak to the man behind the counter and leave your fossil with him.
  6. Leave the building and then come back inside. After speaking to the man again, your fossil will now be a level 20 Shieldon.
Note: It may take some time to find an Armor Fossil while digging; they are rare. Shieldon is exclusive to Pokemon Shining Pearl. If you want Shieldon in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, you will have to trade for it.
