Pokémon GO: How To Evolve Nosepass - Screen Rant

Nosepass is a Rock-type Pokémon with unique evolution requirements in Pokémon GO. Players will need to earn a total of 50 Nosepass candies to evolve it into Probopass, and they will need to be close to a PokéStop that has a Magnetic Lure Module active. To earn candies, players will either need to walk with Nosepass as their buddy or catch enough of that Pokémon to earn 50 candies.

Magnetic Lure Modules are items that can be used on PokéStops to attract Electric-, Steel-, and Rock-type Pokémon. Players can go to the in-game store and purchase a Magnetic Lure Module for 180-200 PokéCoins. To get PokéCoins, players can spend real money, and they can get two packs of 100 PokéCoins for $0.99 each or one pack of 550 PokéCoins for $4.99. Players can also earn up to 50 PokéCoins a day by controlling a Gym. Magnetic Lure Modules in Pokémon GO can also be obtained as rewards for Special Research tasks, but the rewards are randomized, so there's no guarantee that players will receive it that way.

PokéStops can usually be found at major landmarks, and some areas have clusters of them like parks or cities. Players may get lucky and find a PokéStop that already has a Magnetic Lure Module active, especially during a Community Day with an Electric-, Steel-, or Rock-type Pokémon featured. Magnetic Lure Modules are active for 30 minutes and will increase a player's chances of encountering Pokémon, including Nosepass.

Evolving Nosepass into Probopass in Pokémon GO

Aside from having an active Magnetic Lure Module, players will need 50 candies to evolve Nosepass into Probopass. Players can increase the number of candies they get for each Nosepass captured by using a Pokémon GO Pinap Berry or Silver Pinap Berry. A Pinap Berry will grant players 6 candies per capture and a Silver Pinap Berry grant 7 candies. Berries can be earned by completing Field Research and Special Research tasks.

Players can also assign Nosepass as their buddy to earn candies for it. Buddies can be switched by going to the trainer profile, clicking on the player's current buddy, then scrolling to the bottom and choosing the swap buddy option. Players can then select Nosepass as their buddy and start walking with it to earn candies. Players will earn one candy for every three kilometers they walk while Nosepass as their buddy.

Once players have 50 candies and an active Magnetic Lure Module at a PokéStop, they can evolve Nosepass. Probopass is a Steel- and Rock-type Pokémon that players can use in League battles. For the best movest for Probopass in Pokémon GO players can use Rock Throw and either Rock Slide or Magnetic Bomb. Players can change the moveset for Probopass using Fast TMs and Charged TMs, which can be obtained by winning raids or completing Special Research tasks. Nosepass is a unique Pokémon with a few evolution requirements in Pokémon GO.
