Pokemon Legends Arceus Eevee Evolutions: How To Evolve Into ...

It goes without saying that Eevee is by far one of the most popular Pokemon, and so of course it makes an appearance in Pokemon Legends Arceus. It's easy to see why it's so love - besides simply being an adorable little thing, it has the ability to evolve into 8 different potential Pokemon - Jolteon, Flareon, Vaporeon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon.

For players that are going for a complete Pokedex in Pokemon Legends Arceus, you might need some help figuring out how you'll be able to evolve Eevee into its myriad evolutions. Thankfully, things are fairly simple - and Eevee's evolutions can roughly break down into those which require an evolutionary stone, and those which require you to max out your friendship.

Evolution Stone-based Eevee Evolutions

There are 5 "Eeveelutions" which require a stone in order to evolve - Jolteon, Flareon, Vaporeon, Leafeon, and Glaceon. For these 5 evolutions, you'll need to acquire the corresponding evolutionary stone in order to evolve them, as follows;

• Thunder Stone for Jolteon
• Fire Stone for Flareon
• Water Stone for Vaporeon
• Leaf Stone for Leafeon
• Ice Stone for Glaceon

Every one of these stones can be found in the Item Exchange, available for 1000 MP each - they also have a chance to spawn on the ground during Space-Time Distortions. 

That being said, if you're trying to evolve your Eevee to either a Leafeon or a Glaceon - save your time and MP, as both of these Eeveelutions have an additional method you can use to attain them.

Much like in the original Generation IV games, as well as the remakes, you can evolve an Eevee to either a Leafeon or a Glaceon by standing next to specific rocks on the overworld - in that case, you'll simply need to bring an Eevee with you in your party, and upon getting close to these rocks you'll be able to evolve them.

Leafeon is the easier of the two, as its stone can be found in the very first region of the game - the Obsidian Fieldlands. You'll know that the Moss-Covered Rock is the one that you're looking for, as you'll be given a prompt to investigate it. You don't actually need to in order to evolve your Pokemon, but it should serve as a handy guide for if you've found it or not. You'd be hard-pressed to miss it, sticking out in plain sight at the southernmost region of the map.

Glaceon's stone is a bit trickier - not the least owing to the fact that it's found in the last region of the game, the Alabaster Icelands. Beyond that, you'll have to keep an eye out for it - it's found in one of the underground cave systems, so consult our map to help guide you to your new Glaceon companion.

Friendship-based Eeveelutions

The last 3 "Eeveelutions" all share one commonality - you can only evolve an Eevee into an Espeon, Umbreon or Sylveon upon maxing out your Friendship with them. So before anything else, make sure you do this - you won't be able to evolve your Eevee into any of these Pokemon, otherwise. That being said, here are the criteria for evolving each:

• Espeon: Choose to evolve during the day
• Umbreon: Choose to evolve at night
• Sylveon: Choose to evolve while knowing a Fairy-type move

As you can see, things are fairly straightforward. It's worth stressing, however, that Sylveon will overwrite either of the other evolutions if your Eevee happens to know a Fairy-type move when you go to evolve. If you're going for Espeon or Umbreon, remember to double-check your Eevee's moves before deciding to evolve. The same, of course, goes for those aiming for Sylveon - make sure that your Eevee knows a Fairy-type move before evolving.
