Petilil is a Grass-type Pokemon that first debuted in Generation V of the beloved franchise, and with them came their evolution, Lilligant. These Pokemon return in the latest game in the series, Pokemon Legends: Arceus, but the Lilligant is different from its past incarnation, being a version of the Pokemon unique to the region of Hisui.

With a whole new version of the Pokemon for trainers to get for their party and into their Pokedex on their journey to catch ’em all, players are going to want to know how to evolve their Petilil, and luckily, it is a fairly simple process and is the same as it has been in previous entries. This guide will explain how to evolve Petilil to Lilligant Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

Where To Find Cherrim in Pokemon Legends Arceus

To evolve your Petilil into a Lilligant, you are going to need to get yourself an item known as a Sun Stone. There are a few locations where you can find this evolution item around the land of Hisui. One place you can find the item is at the Trading Post with an NPC named Simona. You can find her by going to the west of Galaxy Hall in Jubilife Village. She will sell you the Sun Stone for 1,000 Merit Points.

How To Evolve Petilil In Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Another place that you can get a Sun Stone is by completing Request #85, called “At Home Under The Eaves,” which you can get from the Professor’s request board also in Jubilife Village. Completing this request will reward you with a Rare Candy as well as a Sun Stone.

Once you get yourself a Sun Stone, you will be able to evolve your Petilil in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Go into your satchel, select the Sun Stone, and use the item on your Petilil to evolve it into Lilligant.
