Try to hit Azelf with balms is an objective in the Story Mission, The Trial of Lake Valor in Pokemon Legends Arceus

Walkthrough[edit]

  • Azelf will manifest inside Valor Cavern and challenge the Protagonist to hit them with a Balm.
  • Throw 3 Balms at Azelf, and know they will not hit it.
  • Azelf will ask "Will you abandon this folly?" reply, "I'm not through yet."
  • Throw 3 Balms at Azelf, with it blinking out the way each time.
  • Azelf will ask "It seems you had best give up. Will you continue regardless?" reply, "I'm not through yet."
  • Throw 3 Balms at Azelf, with it blinking out the way each time.
  • Azelf will ask "Give up. You struggle in vain Will you progress on?" reply, "I'm not through yet."
  • Throw 1 more Balm at Azelf, which will hit it and trigger a cutscene.
  • Getting through this, Azelf will award you with Azelf's Fang.
  • Turn around and leave the Cavern.
  • Once back outside, your partner and Volo talk some before suggesting returning to the Ancient Retreat.
