How to evolve Farfetch'd into Sirfetch'd in Pokémon Sword and Shield

Farfetch'd will only evolve into Sirfetch'd if it manages to land three critical hits during one battle.

The best way to ensure that this happens is to enter battle with a trainer who has multiple Pokémon. This way you're giving Farfetch'd enough time to get its critical hits in, without ending the battle.

Farfetch'd can learn a number of moves that land Critical Hits more easily. This includes Leaf Blade at Level 55 or by using TR 50.

You can also teach Farfetch'd Focus Energy by using TR13, which will increase its ability to land Critical Hits.

You can also increase Farfetch'd's chance of landing a critical hit by giving it either the Scope Lens or the Razor Claw to hold.

The Scope Lens is located on Route 9 near the entrance to Spikemuth.

Head up the hill from the water section of this route and then turn left into the small dead-end to find this item on the ground.

You'll find the Razor Claw in Galar Mine No.2.

Follow the set path through the mine until you fight Worker Yvonne. Once she's defeated pick up the item that is to her left - this is the Razor Claw.

Finally, there is the Leek. This item is specific to Farfetch'd, boosting its critical-hit ratio, and can only be found by catching a Farfetch'd that already hold it.
