Timburr is a fervent Fighting-type Pokémon with a flair for construction. However, it happily puts its skillset to use in battle as well. Once it reaches its final evolution, few can contend with Conkeldurr's brute force and tanky defense.

Finding and Evolving Timburr

Timburr's a notably rare encounter in Pokémon Sword & Shield. In the wild, it can only be found within the Galar Mines. In Sword, it has a 25% chance of spawning in the overworld and a 30% chance of a random encounter. In Shield, however, those chances drop to 5%.

There are a few Max Raids that host Timburr as well. Trainers having difficulties locating one in the wild should scour the dens in the Rolling Fields, South Lake Miloch, and the Stony Wilderness.

Timburr evolves into Gurdurr at level 25. But like Machop, trainers will have to undergo a trade to reach its final evolution, Conkeldurr.

A Well-Rounded Moveset

Focus Punch and Superpower are this chain's two strongest learned moves. Use the latter sparingly as it lowers the user's attack and defense. However, those stats are so robust they can spare a setback or two. Hammer Arm is another strong Fighting-type move that only lowers the user's speed. It would pair well with Payback, which will fend off Psychic types.

On the topic of combating weaknesses, Rockslide or Rock Tomb are advisable for debilitating flying-type opponents. It can even be taught the TR Poison Jab to round out coverage of its shortcomings.
