Popular Twitch streamer Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys is known for her hilarious interactions with fans and unexpected moments that crop up during her broadcasts – one of which occurred during her joint stream with fellow streamer ‘Mizkif.’

Pokimane was in the middle of a conversation with Mizkif on May 23 when she asked him what tag she should use, should she ever decide to rebrand herself.

Mizkif answered that Pokimane should simply use her legal name if such a rebranding ever came about – a suggestion that Pokimane quickly shot down due to the many jokes that have been made using her real name, Imane Anys.

“It’s a letter off of ‘anus,’ so I don’t think I should include it,” Pokimane laughingly said of her last name. “I’ve lived with this name my whole life. If you think I don’t know every single meme… On top of that, when you connect my first and last name, Imane Anys, you could just write, like, ‘I’m an anus.’”

Mizkif found Pokimane’s explanation hilarious, and went on to poke fun at the Twitch chat for inciting such jokes, comparing them to preschoolers.

“A lot of time, Twitch chat is like a preschool generator, so when you give them an insult, they’ll just keep generating it,” Mizkif said of the matter.

Pokimane is well-versed in the immaturity expressed by some members of the online gaming community; in fact, the streamer was left floored by the behavior of old-school RuneScape players during a broadcast of the game on May 16, after they gathered in the shape of a phallus that displayed on her mini-map for all to see.
