How to complete Popsicles and Their Curious Uses¶

To begin this quest, go to the Quest menu, then go to the Story sub-menu and then go to the second page. This is where you will find all the Hangout Events in the future. Click on Chongyun and confirm, a popup will now appear and ask if you want to spend two story keys to unlock “Signs of Evil”, confirm that, and you’ll get the first quest. To earn Story Keys, you need to complete eight daily commissions.

What are daily commissions?¶

Daily commissions are the purple quest icon in-game. You get four every day, and they reward you with 250 Adventure EXP for each quest as well as a small amount of Primogems, after eight of these commissions are completed, you’ll receive a story key. The quests themselves are normally short, defeat enemy type quests.

If your choice fails the quest or turns out a way that you didn’t want, you can always go to the timeline and choose a different choice, at no extra cost!

Go to Wanmin Restaurant to help Chongyun restock on popsicles¶

Chongyun appears to be worried because neither Chef Mao nor Xiangling are at the restaurant, meaning he can’t get his popsicles. You’ll then tell him you can try making them as they don’t look too hard to make and Chongyun will agree to it, but he can’t remember what ingredients are infused with the water, he’ll then say…Do you have any experience with such things? Which’ll give you the following three options:

“Let’s try Mist Flower and Qingxin.”¶

If you choose this option, head to Path - 1-A

“Let’s try Sunsettia and Valberries.”¶

If you choose this option, head to Path - 1-A

If you choose this option, head to Path - 1-B

The top two options will lead to the same outcome, whilst the bottom option will lead you to Ending 3.

Path 1-A¶

A Cooling Mix (Mist Flower and Qingxin)¶

You’ll need to give Chongyun one Mist Flower and one Qingxin. You should have some already on you but in case you don’t you can get the items from the following places:

  • Mist Flower - These are icy blue flowers that need to be attacked by a pyro user, they can be found on the Falcon Coast beach, teleport to the Temple of the Lion Domain and glide southeast to the corner of the beach, there’ll be two Mist Flowers there.

  • Qingxin - These can be purchased at Bubu Pharmacy in Liyue Harbor.

After giving him the ingredients, you’ll get a bit more dialogue and then the quest will end, leading to your next quest: For A Child’s Smile.

A Sweet Mix (Sunsettia and Valberries)¶

You’ll need to give Chongyun one Sunsettia and one Valberry. You should have some already on you but in case you don’t you can get the items from the following places:

  • Sunsettia - These can be purchased from Bolai, the proprietor of Wanyou Boutique, which can be found in Liyue Harbor.

  • Valberry - These can be purchased from Chloris, she can be found traversing the road near the Windrise Statue of the Seven.

Path 1-B¶

A Curious Mix¶

You’ll need to give Chongyun one Jueyun Chili and one Slime Condensate. You should have some already on you but in case you don’t you can get the items from the following places:

  • Jueyun Chili - These can be purchased from Wanmin Restaurant in Liyue Harbor.

  • Slime Condensate - These can be obtained by defeating any Slime enemy.

Once you have given Chongyun the ingredients, he’ll try the popsicle… This will result in the Ending 3 - Can’t Beat This Heat.
