What is a Potion of Regeneration

Potion of Regeneration is great for when taking on opponents or mobs stronger than you. While it doesn't do any damage to your enemy it will allow you to regenerate for a period of time. This makes you heal much faster, regardless of how full your hunger bar is. Like most potions it can be combined with Gunpowder, Redstone, Blaze Powder to make it even more useful.

How to Make a Potion of Regeneration

To brew this potion you first need a bottle of water which you put into the bottom three slots of the brewing stand. Next you must put a nether wart into the ingredient slot at the top of the stand. This will make an awkward potion.

You then put a ghast tear (which you can find from killing ghasts in the nether) to the ingredient slot. You will get a Regeneration potion for 45 seconds. You can then put in a piece of glowstone dust OR redstone dust.

The redstone dust will extend the effect to 2 minutes and the glowstone dust will make the potion effect stronger but it will shorten the time to 22 seconds. However, you can add a fermented spider eye to the potion and you will get a weakness potion for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
