Power Book 2 Season 3 Release: When Does Book II Ghost Return?

Power Book II: Ghost was the first of the spin-offs to premiere and has been a roaring success for Starz. The third season was announced at the end of 2021, not too long after series two premiered on the network. Now with the second outing coming to an end, viewers are starting to ask questions regarding the show's return.

Starz has revealed there will be several new faces added to the regular cast when it returns for season three.

These actors will be 9JKL star David Walton, The Dark Knight actress Monique Curnen and Raising Dion's Moriah Brown.

And going by their character descriptions, they are bound to cause some trouble for Tariq St Patrick (played by Michael Rainey Jr) and his operation with Monet Tejada (Mary J Blige).

Actress Curnen was former NYPD Detective Blanca Rodriguez in the first season of Power Book II so will be back to reprise her role.

She is expected to be more determined than ever to finish what she started last time around.

Brown will portray the young Vice President at a Wall Street firm Kiki Travis who is "making her own way in the world of the business elite".

Actor Walton is Lucas Weston who is described as "an adventure-seeking, left-leaning high-level executive at his family’s Wall Street firm".

With the introduction of those from Wall Street, perhaps series three will see the drug operation move to a new level with their help.

When will Power Book II: Ghost return?

Power Book II season two is almost done and dusted with as fans are now looking forward to the start of the third season.

The first series of the spin-off began in September 2020, just seven months after the original Starz drama came to an end.

Its future was looking bright though as season two was quickly announced and kicked off in November 2021.

So both of the first two series have been airing later on in the year and finishing off near the start of the next.

As predicted, a similar pattern will be followed for the upcoming season.

According to Power Book II's IMDB page, the release date for the season three premiere has been slated.

Power Book II: Ghost season three will begin on Sunday, November 20, on Starz in America and Starzplay in the UK.

But before season three begins, series two must come to an end.

Power Book II's season two finale airs tonight, Sunday, February 6, on Starz and was available to stream beforehand via the Starz app in the USA.

Episode 10 is entitled Love and War with the synopsis reading: "Tariq refuses to give up on his loved ones and must help Monet save her own family.

"Monet finally seeing the whole board, must move quickly to protect her family from Mecca."

Power Book II: Ghost seasons 1-2 are available to watch on Starz in America and Starzplay via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
