Power Cells are special items in Horizon Zero Dawn. Power Cells can be collected from a number of locations across the world to be used for the side quest Ancient Armory.

Power Cells also appear as a quest item in Heap of Trouble and Waterlogged, though these are separate from the items collected for Ancient Armory.

Locations[]

There are five Power Cells scattered across the world that must be obtained to complete the Ancient Armory quest, with all but the first one being accessible during main quests.

  • Ruins east of Mother's Watch
  • Hidden room accessed through a crawl space in All-Mother Temple
  • Atop the FAS building at Maker's End
  • The Grave-Hoard in a locked room accessed by resetting the mechanisms outside
  • In a cave in GAIA Prime
