Prince Harry would like for the public to “stop talking” about his feud with Prince William as they mourn Queen Elizabeth II’s death.
“People need to just stop talking about all this stuff and focus on my grandmother,” the Duke of Sussex, 38, told a friend last week, according to the Times of London.
The newspaper also cited a source who said the newly named Prince of Wales, 40, agrees and is “solely focused on doing what is right to honor the Queen.”
The insider added that while William has been “processing his grief and the death of his grandmother, rather than sitting there processing his relationship with Harry,” the estranged brothers are still “trying their best” to get along.

Media coverage of the family’s discord allegedly “weighs on [William] a lot,” according to the source, who added, “He doesn’t want that.”
The duo have put on a united front since the 96-year-old monarch died on Sept. 8.

Not only did William, Harry and their respective wives, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, engage in a joint royal walkabout to greet mourners, but the siblings also walked behind the Queen’s casket when it left Buckingham Palace last week.

Their side-by-side formation felt reminiscent of their late mother Princess Diana’s funeral in 1997, William told an onlooker last week.
He explained that walking in the procession was “very difficult” and “brought back memories.”

During the Queen’s funeral Monday, William and Harry rode to Westminster Hall in separate cars, but both walked with dad King Charles III behind their grandmother’s casket to Westminster Abbey.
Middleton, 40, and Markle, 41, joined them inside, along with the Prince and Princess of Wales’ eldest two children, Prince George, 9, and Princess Charlotte, 7. (Prince Louis, 4, did not attend the service due to his age.)

William and Harry’s feud has made headlines for several years but ramped up when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from their royal roles in January 2020.
The pair, who share son Archie, 3, and daughter Lilibet, 1, made their exit permanent in February 2021 — and spilled tea about the royal family in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey the following month.
“I love William to bits,” Harry said at the time. “We’ve been through hell together, and we have a shared experience, but we are on different paths.”
