We seek and value candidates with a passion for healthcare, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to excellence and professionalism. Our ideal candidates are pre-med students working towards a career in the medical field.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Pre-health career track
- College sophomore status or higher
- Minimum 6 month time commitment
- Ability to work at least 2 shifts (or 16 hours) per week
- Ability to obtain education and vaccination records; including childhood immunizations
Skill Set:
- High professional and ethical standards
- Cognizance of delicate and confidential patient information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Work in dynamic, highly stressful environment
- Learn and apply medical terminologies and techniques

What does the application process look like?
Step
Start by submitting an online application. You will also be asked to complete a typing test. Our Talent Acquisition Team will evaluate your resume, application, and typing test results.

If you are selected to move forward with the next step in the hiring process, you will be invited to submit a video interview. The most successful applicants complete the video interview within 24-48 hours.

Training
Once you have accepted an offer to be a medical scribe with ProScribe, you will begin a 3-phase training program designed to set you up for immediate success. Training starts with medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, medical documentation, and extends to the electronic medical record and the specific preferences of each provider.

The average length of employment for a medical scribe with our organization is 16 to 18 months.
Is there a minimum employment commitment time?
Yes, we require a 6 month commitment from each of our medical scribes.
How many hours will I be required to work?
