PS Plus Free Games: New Games Revealed For August 2022

For any PS5 players, having PS Plus is a complete no-brainer.

Like Xbox Game Pass, it lets you fill your library with some of the best games on the console, and all without those nasty price rises.

The higher the tier you pay for, the more games you get, with new games joining every month, though some games have to make way for them too.

With games like Marvel's Wolverine coming up later this year, 2026 is set to be a massive year for PS5 owners.

So once you've checked out the best PS Plus deals, let's take a look at all the new games coming to PS Plus this month.

PS Plus free games for February 2026 confirmed

PS Plus Essential members will get the following free titles as part of February's monthly games:

• Subnautica: Below Zero (PS5)
• Undisputed (PS5)
• Ultros (PS5, PS4)
• Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (PS4)

After a relatively poor January, things are picking up with a much more interesting February for PS Plus!

Kicking things off, we have a spin-off to one of the best survival games ever with Subnautica: Below Zero. Originally meant to be a DLC to the main game, it follows the same gameplay loop of exploring the seas of an alien world (and this time, the icy surface), collecting materials, crafting and avoiding the local wildlife while you hunt for clues about your sister's death.

Shifting the vibe entirely, Undisputed is a boxing game described by developer Steel City Interactive as "the most authentic boxing game to date!" The game features more than 70 licensed fighters, with a variety of punch types, attributes and traits to give you as much control over your fighters as possible.

Next up is one of the most underrated indie titles of 2024, the metroidvania Ultros. After awakening on board the Sarcophagus, a spaceship imprisoning the demon Ultros, players must explore the empty ship, overgrown with plant life, fighting aliens that have gone mad and attempting to prevent the titular demon from waking.

Last, but not least, we've got Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. If you don't know about it already, Ace Combat is the game series when it comes to combat flight simulation, and while dogfighting is the focus, there's a pretty good story mode here too. Plus, with Ace Combat 8 set to release later this year, it's a good time to start getting some practice in!
