I just started playing the 1.3 update for my PS4, and I finally got one of the alien ships to spawn near Outer Space. It detected me turned red and then disappeared and at the bottom of my screen it's at the Alien Invasion had begun. Now there are a bunch of tiny alien ships in the background but no actual enemies have spawned for the alien invasion. It has been about two Terraria days and I've traveled the map from east to west and still see no enemies. Does anyone know why they have not spawned or if there's something I need to do first. I'm super confused.

I'm sorry, I wasn't sure if this was a bug or if it was just me being stupid and not knowing how to start the event.

Hi @Kage shadow, there is a bug right now where events (like the Martians) are not spawning properly. It’s being looked into. Are you in multiplayer? Other members have said switching to single player may help. And other members have said that the Martians do finally come, the just take way too long to actually show up. Sorry I don’t have a better workaround for you.

It’s no biggie. You couldn’t have known.

Thank you, that is good to know I was on single player already but I had continued playing and just now The Invasion finally did spawn so it does just take a really long time appreciate the information.

And the world spawn is where you need to be for this! Like all other invasions. But Martian Madness also doesn't show they are coming from the east or west or they have arrived they just will be there with no wait time either This should work in single player and multiplayer, but while in multiplayer the Martian Saucer after defeated another doesn't show up that often or never or another one takes a while to show up again, and this Martian Saucer is what you want to defeat more than the small fries, and maybe Scutlix. And if Martian Probe never spawns again longer then 5+mins to start Martian Madness again you might need to exit the game cause Martian Probe might never spawn again. I had one time where a Martian Probe didn't spawn I ended up exiting and reloaded and it was there quite fast! I think it has something to do with Martian Saucer that never shows up again but is still counted as being around but isn't so it was stopping Martian Probe from spawning.
