The last day to have studded tires removed from vehicles is Friday, April 30. Under the Highway Traffic Act, studded tire use is only permitted between November 1 and April 30 each year.

The Minister of Digital Government and Service NL has the authority to extend the deadline in cases where it is deemed prudent because of inclement weather.
