2025 will be our 8th year scaring Manitobans and in that short time we have rocketed to one of the top haunted attractions in North America! HEEBIE JEEBIES is now the #1 privately owned Halloween attraction in Canada!  Incredibly HEEBIE JEEBIES has already had visitors from every continent except Antarctica! With attendance now close to 35,000 souls annually, HEEBIE JEEBIES ranks in the top 3% of haunted attractions in North America! Fascinating fact! – The largest privately owned haunted attractions in the world are Field of Screams in Pennsylvania (urban population: 6,300,000) and Netherworld in Atalanta, Georgia (urban population: 6,000,000). Both have attendance of over 75,000 however, when you consider that we have attendance of close to 35,000 in the Winnipeg capital region with a population of just 778,000, this means that by comparison, a far greater percentage of people attend HEEBIE JEEBIES making HEEBIE JEEBIES one of the most popular haunted attractions in the world!! Way to go Manitoba!!

HEEBIE JEEBIES has 4 food trucks on site, more than any other Manitoba haunt. We have Mini-O’s donuts, The Meltdown, Wings N’ Fries and The Churro Stop. Mini-O’s features a “Pumpkin Spice” flavour exclusively for HEEBIE JEEBIES.  We also serve Hot Chocolate, Popcorn, and Red Jello ‘Blood Bags’!

HEEBIE JEEBIES is the busiest Halloween event in Manitoba and one of the biggest and busiest in Canada. Many people want to take it all in and some are simply more terrified than others. Don’t be surprised if you see people ahead of you. This happens at EVERY haunted attraction.  We simply can’t space groups 15 minutes apart and even if we did, some people would STILL catch up to others! The solution is simple.  Slow down and let them remain ahead of you. We have several security guards in each maze to monitor the progression of victims through the mazes, and speed them up when necessary. More often than not, it is the group catching up that is going too fast and should slow down.

Each group entering each maze is typically 4-6 persons. Our line managers will place smaller groups together to go through the mazes. Groups of 2 or 3 will be put together to form a group of 4,5, or 6.

Yes, online ticketing is through Square which accepts all major credit cards. All food trucks and our merchandise booth also accept credit cards, cash, or debit.

Tickets are available ONLINE only.

Our work never really ends, we’re always on the lookout for new props and ideas and we attend several conventions and trade shows throughout the year. We constantly assess what’s working well, what didn’t and what we can add or improve for the next HEEBIE JEEBIES. Over the winter and spring months, we casually build props, order new props, design the next new maze(s), repair costumes and finalize new plans. In the spring we begin building and renovating the mazes. As props and materials arrive, construction kicks into high gear. By late September the attraction is pretty much ready to go.  In all, there are over 65 indoor rooms not including any outdoor mazes, plus several more booths for ticketing, hot chocolate, dressing rooms, break rooms, and storage.

Yes. T-shirts, Hoodies, Sweaters, Toques, Gloves, Sweats Pants, keychains, coffee mugs, baseball caps, and even Depends diapers (yes, a lot of people pee and crap their pants!) are all available for purchase at the Merch Booth.

Baby strollers, baby carriers, walkers, canes, wheelchairs, and crutches are all allowed in the Scare Zone, but are not allowed inside the mazes for safety reasons. This event is not suitable for young children.

No. Wristband colours are changed every event night.  On nights with unlimited re-entry to the mazes, we change the colour of our wristbands each night. For nights with one-time entry into each maze, your wristband will have removable tabs for each maze. Once your tabs are all used up, you cannot re-enter any of the mazes and your wristband is useless for future nights. Your wristband is only good for one night.

Yes. As long as you keep your wristband on and you will be required to go through security again before re-entering the event.

NO! Customers who touch our props or actors will be immediately escorted out of the event without refund.

Not if you follow the rules. We have never had a serious injury at HEEBIE JEEBIES. The biggest cause of minor injuries at every haunted attraction is running. Read the rules, follow the rules, and you will have a terrifyingly good time. Warning signs are posted throughout the haunt.

You should NOT attend HEEBIE JEEBIES if,

  • You are prone to seizures
  • You have a respiratory condition (especially asthma or a heart condition)
  • You have a broken bone
  • You are pregnant

YES. For your safety and the safety of all of our ‘victims’, if your ride drops you off on the road in front of our event you will be denied entry.  Lasalle Road has 90kph speed limit and there is no lighting on the road.  THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!  We also have a zero-tolerance policy on alcohol, weapons of any kind, physical assault, foul language, pushing, shoving, vulgar behaviour, inappropriate attire, smoking, vaping, drugs, touching our props or actors, and video or photography inside the mazes. A complete list of our rules is posted in multiple locations throughout the venue. Violation of these rules will result in expulsion from the venue without refund.

Parking is FREE!

You can take all the pictures and video you like in the Scare Zone, in fact, we encourage you to take pictures and post it on social media. Flash photography, flashlights and video recording are prohibited inside the mazes. Anyone caught taking pictures or video inside the mazes will be ejected without refund.

Everything at HEEBIE JEEBIES is wheelchair accessible except our mazes but please keep in mind that the entire site is on gravel. Please keep in mind that walkers, canes, wheelchairs, and crutches are not allowed inside the mazes for safety reasons.  We have had visitors leave their walkers with our staff at the entrance while they go through with friends and our staff will meet them at the exit. We have had several visitors in wheelchairs who have had a great time attending with friends.

NO! Anyone wearing a costume or face paint will be denied entry to HEEBIE JEEBIES.

Yes. There are several food trucks for your enjoyment. We have many port-a-potties on site and highly recommend a stop there before entering our mazes. We really prefer you pee in the potties and not in the mazes.

No. While you may jump and lurch from our scares, we won’t ask you to crawl on the ground, though we have had some ‘victims’ crawl through our mazes on their hands and knees out of sheer terror.

No. Everything at HEEBIE JEEBIES is on solid gravel, and although we do not recommend wearing your Sunday best or high heels to any haunted attraction, even on wet days, your clothes and shoes will not be covered in mud at HEEBIE JEEBIES.

HEEBIE JEEBIES covers more than 80,000 square feet.  The Scare Zone, photo ops, food trucks, bonfires, hot chocolate, and merch booth are outdoors.  Our mazes are all indoors except for The Hollows as it is a corn maze.

While we don’t have an age restriction, HEEBIE JEEBIES is not recommended for children under 13 years of age. That being said, you know your child best and we leave it up to you.

*HEEBIE JEEBIES will not pay for therapy for anyone of any age due to any psychological effects from attending our awesome event.

We take security very seriously. Before entering our event, you will be subject to screening by metal detectors.  We have over 30 professionally trained, highly visible security officers on duty each night for the sole purpose of security, as well as dozens of security cameras throughout the property. Security personnel are stationed throughout each maze, throughout the scare zone and at the entrance/exit, and we even have security vehicles patrolling the road in both directions. There are an additional 12 security guards in our parking lot.  Cameras are located in every area of the property including the driveway entrance/exit, inside all mazes and in the scare zone.

All of our costumes are custom made by movie production studios in the United States. Virtually all of our suppliers work in the movie industry and supply the biggest theme parks in the world. Some of our costumes have even been featured in major movies.  Our costumes cost anywhere from $500 to $5,000 each, with most averaging about $1,500. The giant animatronic monsters you see perched above each our mazes cost close to $15,000 each.  We have close to 200 costumes and masks in all and we add more and more each year.

We take safety very seriously. Tens of thousands of people have gone through HEEBIE JEEBIES and we have never had a serious injury. HEEBIE JEEBIES is inspected every single year just before opening by a certified Fire Inspector and certified Building Inspector. We are also visited by our local Health Inspector and Workplace Safety.

It takes over 200 staff each night to run HEEBIE JEEBIES.  Over 140 actors and more than 50 support staff, plus our 30 security staff. Each maze has 24-30 actors and our Scare Zone has 15 actors roaming around for photo ops. We also have security staff throughout the event as well as in the parking lot and on Lasalle Road.

HEEBIE JEEBIES ambushes your senses in every way possible without anyone physically touching you. We have lasers, fog, air blasts, shock effects, strobe lights, noisemakers, sound effects, terrifying music, animatronics, and startling effects. If you suffer from Claustrophobia, Coulrophobia, Arachnophobia, Kinemortophobia, Urophobia, or any other phobias, you may or may not enjoy HEEBIE JEEBIES. Odds are pretty good that if you don’t have a phobia when you arrive, that you’ll likely have one when you leave.

Yes. We have security guards stationed throughout each maze; they will be wearing a bright fluorescent shirt or vest and will have a flashlight to guide you out.

No. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. Enter at your own risk. If you are coming to HEEBIE JEEBIES, you are coming to be scared. If we have done our job so well than you can’t finish, then we’ve done what you paid us to do.

HEEBIE JEEBIES is the scariest, and coolest place to be in October! Screaming can be heard from the moment you park your car until the time you leave but there is an equal amount of laughing too.  Just read some of our reviews. You will scream a lot, laugh a lot, and maybe pee and cry a little. We see lots of smiling faces in between the screams. We’d say it’s an equal amount of screaming and laughing and 110% FUN!

NO! The actors at HEEBIE JEEBIES will never touch, grab, push or shove you. If any of our actors ever come into contact with you, it would certainly be accidental.  HEEBIE JEEBIES is terrifying enough, we don’t need cheap tactics to scare the pee out of you!

110% yes – plenty of adults pee their pants while visiting HEEBIE JEEBIES.  It happens almost every night. We have had two confirmed cases of people literally pooping in their pants. We have found soiled undies both inside, and tossed behind our porta-potties. We have also had adults crawling on their hands and knees, vomit, and people needing to be carried out, and plenty of weak souls who burst into tears and run away crying. Our attraction is not for the faint of heart, but we’ve also had plenty of 13-year-olds and plenty of 70-year-olds have an absolute blast. It all depends on how easily you get scared and how strong your bladder is.

The first weekend will have the lowest crowds. The remaining weekends sell out fast and are always our busiest nights where you can expect the longest wait times.  Thursdays and Sundays tend to have slightly lower crowds than Fridays and Saturdays.  If you book the earliest time slot on almost any evening you can usually get one or two mazes done quickly with little to no waiting.  Within an hour of opening our event can become very busy.  At the end of the night, the maze lines drop quickly and you can often get one or two mazes done very quickly as well.

YES! Unlike other Halloween attractions that only allow you to enter each maze once, at HEEBIE JEEBIES you can go through all mazes as many times as you want on select nights. Check our calendar for details.

Claims of one-hour lines are greatly exaggerated but when you are waiting in line for an awesome experience, any time spent in line can feel like an eternity in hell.  We have five mazes stretching over 1km long.  If each line took one hour, that’s 5 hours jn line not to mention all the photo ops, food, live performers and other things to do.  No one spends over 5 hours at our event.  If you arrive close to closing then you will not get everything done. The length of the lines also depends on the day and time of your visit. On our busiest nights, you can expect to wait 30-45 minutes at most to get into each maze.  Wait time is also dependent on the popularity of each maze. Some mazes, especially on our unlimited re-entry nights, are busier than others. As haunted attractions go, we manage our lines extremely well. Most haunts similar to ours will have waits of 1 hour or more. Don’t worry though, there are plenty of scares to be had while you wait and even entertainment for you in most of our lines.

PRO TIP #1 – The earliest event dates have the shortest lines.

PRO TIP #2 – If you arrive early you can usually get in to one or two mazes with very little waiting in line.

PRO TIP #3 – Lines diminish rapidly near closing time. You can often do 1 or 2 mazes fairly quickly at the end of the evening.

Our mazes are 500-900 feet long and 4,000-6,000 square feet in size. Each takes about 8-12 minutes to survive.  Overall there is over 1 kilometre of mazes that takes about 45 to 50 minutes to walk through.

HEEBIE JEEBIES is located in Southwest Winnipeg, one kilometre south of McGillivary on LaSalle Road (turn south at The Rink Training Centre on McGillivary). If you’re coming from the south Perimeter, we are two kilometres north on LaSalle Road.

To be clear, we are NOT located in the town of LaSalle; we are inside the Perimeter.

HEEBIE JEEBIES is open rain, shine, or snow.  All but one of our mazes are indoors, the rest of HEEBIE JEEBIES is outdoors. However, we will not close for light rain, drizzle, windy conditions, light snow, or flurries. In the unfortunate case that we receive heavy rain or heavy snow, an announcement will be made across social media as quickly as possible, and you will be contacted with instructions regarding your tickets.

No. Your ticket is only valid on the night you selected to attend.

We strongly advise you to arrive early. You may wait in your car until your ticket time comes up. Your ticket can be changed to any other date/time that HEEBIE JEEBIES still has tickets available. Simply go to our ticket tab on our website and select the night you wish to attend. A new menu will appear with any available times left to choose from. Simply select the 30-minute window in which you expect to arrive. Arrive at HEEBIE JEEBIES during that time slot and stay as long as you wish. Please note that you are NOT buying a spot in line for the mazes and you are not buying your own exclusive time to have the entire event to yourself. Our event will likely be close to full capacity when you arrive. Timed ticketing simply allows us to keep the number of visitors and amount of traffic manageable.

HEEBIE JEEBIES features 5 large mazes, over 1km of mazes in all, 4 food trucks, lots of photo ops, Zombie Carnival Games, bonfires, hot chocolate, popcorn, red jello blood bags, live entertainment, and fireworks on select nights. The entire venue covers almost 2 full acres and features over 140 terrifying characters. The time required can vary considerably based on how early or late in the evening or how early or late in the season you arrive. We can only recommend that you arrive early. The later you arrive, the less likely you will get to see and do everything. We make no guarantees that you will see and do everything. We also strongly recommend getting through all of the mazes BEFORE taking in the food trucks, carnival games, and photo ops.

No, however you can withdraw cash from the ticket booth using your debit or credit card.
