Since the last update, my saved audio messages are not saved in the Voice Memos app. If you hold and press an audio message within a message, you get an option to “save” but where does it now go? It used to go to Voixe Memos. I have lost so many memorable messages from my kids and recordings.

Yeah, this is what I primarily did when I wanted to save some audio from imessage. It'd end up in voice memos nicely organized. It no longer works that way.

I did find a way to at least email myself the files. You can go to "info" under the imessage conversatoin and select "attachments" after which you can individually go through all the audio files and share them. (email in my case.) Of course, you would have had to have the audio message expiration time of 2 minutes disabled under options.

They used to be visible in the voice memo app, then in the contact files under the attachments tab, but that tab no longer exists after the last ios upgrade. You can still tap and save audio messages, so how can you access them? Still looking for the answer to this question.
