Open OBS, press on File tab, and after you will see "Open Recordings Folder", click on it and the folder where vids save will open. SSeth

I am having the same exact problem. Do you have to click save in the file before clicking stop recording? Ddping

Click to expand...First, dont necro old threads, just start a new one and post your log. that being said, try this, have the location that OBS says its saving it to, open. default is the videos folder in documents. press File, then Open Recordings Folder. press start recording, a file should appear, press stop. is the file there?

How do I post a thread? Since I don't know, I will post a problem of my own, relating to the subject I had OBS on my Windows 8.1 PC and it was working fine. After I updated it to Windows 10, Everything went wrong, When I recorded I would only see one picture for the whole video, so I deleted it and reinstalled it. But I can't find OBS itself so when I used the installer wizard, I opened it up again and I started to record again. Normally after I record it is in my MP4 File but I can't find it and OBS says that it is in the MP4 File. I've since sought for help, and eventually came to this post. I tried everything on here, but it doesn't seem to work anymore but on Windows 8.1 it was fine. Please help Ddping

I am having this exact same problem. I did exactly what dping said to do. I looked in the folder that was linked by "Open Recordings Folder" and I started recording, nothing was there when I started or stopped. I am on windows 8.1. Thanks for any help. Wwubble123456
