VRChat ripping avatar from user ID I want a model from a person, but only have there user id. Would it be possible from just that to get a avatar on their account and rip it? Last edited by Marcx; 30th September 2021 at 10:22 AM.

To get the AvatarID you need to parse the VRChat communication. Alternatively, you can use melonLoader to display the retrieved ID in the console, but I don't know how to do it, so I recommend you to parse the communication.

If they are the avatar creator, you can use a third party service such as RipperStore and search their UserID there, and you'll be able to download the vrca files to the avatars they have uploaded.

I want to get a private avatar there, but downloading one private avatar there requires modding the game to rip up to 30 avatars in-game, and I'm afraid of the ban hammer. No, but Mods are always safe because there's not an Anti-Cheat or Mod detection (yet).

Have you been using harming mods such as model ripping mods on your main account without getting banned? Why do I see several posts across the Internet stating how they got banned after using mods etc.? Or do you have a secondary account?

Yes, I use mods on my main because I know that I won't get banned. But what can happen is that if an admin of vrchat sees you cheating then u could get your account suspended for I think 30 days. after your unbanned and you get banned again then you get a permaban.

credits of ripper store is so hard to earn. I wonder if there is a way to get the AVATAR ID(avtr), then I can easily use the id-downloading tool in ripper store.

I still have yet to figure out how to get an avatar from a user id, that isn't in the same lobby. I tried checking numerous client databases and even ripperstore, but no luck. I'm really desperate and I will pay someone to do the task.
