Let me start by saying I searched high and low online before doing this even after paying for the service prior to my appointment I kept thinking “man , I’m a sucker I just got taken for $100 and did it willingly “ THAT WAS FAR FROM TRUE I CANT TELL YOU HOW MUCH THIS HAS CHANGED MY LIFE BEING ABLE TO DO THIS FROM THE COMFORT OF MY OWN HOME ITS REAL IT WORKS AND ITS 1000% worth it !! This has been by far the very best experiences I have had with a Dr.! It was easy to sign up , setting a appointment was fast i was needing to take part in the MAT program I was extreamly sick and was able to get a appointment not only the same day but with in hours , the visit (via phone ) was nothing short of awesome the dr was extremely pleasant and understanding he handling my issues and I was done before I knew it by the time I got off the phone googled the number to the pharmacy and call my medication was already ready to be picked up and to my suprise was covered by my insurance ! I can’t tell you how much being able to use QuickMD means to me and what a blessing it’s been being able to use this service especially in a Rual area where it takes weeks to get into a doctor for this kind of treatment Thank you again QuickMD

So to begin, I’m grateful that this place exists, because it is a cheaper option than my previous doctor. That being said, the on my initial call, I was told I’d get a 7 day supply of my medication, see how I’m feeling, then I’d hear something back in a week and the follow up would be free. Well, I guess I need to read the fine print better. 10 days after not hearing anything or getting any notifications, I made a follow up appointment…this is where my it’s my fault/Im still a little confused. I work overnights and overslept my follow up appointment. My wife and I recently moved back to the area after she retired from the military. My insurance doesn’t kick in until 3 months in and I’m 30 days in. So the medication alone is $200…once I go to make a follow up, I see there is a $35 charge for missing the first follow up. I can’t book an appointment until I pay the money. I waited one day and went make a follow up and see there is nothing for 2 days. That means 6 days without my medication that causes awful withdrawals, even at the very low dose I’m on. (This medication saved my life), or come up with $35 to pay for $200s worth of medication. I also have a $64 credit in my account, that apparently I can’t use towards the $35 fee, even though I paid $99 not even 2 weeks ago. I take blame for missing the appointment, but confused on why I have a credit if the follow up is free, and why I can’t use the remaining credit to pay the $35, and pay the full $99 next month like I was told?

He was very kind, very professional, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I recommend him if you are looking for a phone visit so that you do not have to leave work in order to be seen by a doctor. I will definitely continue to use this app and will definitely try to book with him again. I have already told one of my daughters about him and will be telling my other daughter and son who has 4 Children of his own as well. Honestly, I’m going to be bragging on him and recommending this app to everyone I know. I’m not easily impressed because let’s be honest, most people now days don’t seem to want to do their job. However, in this case I’m impressed enough to feel obligated to write a review and give my honest opinion based on my experience so that others who are on the fence about using this app can have piece of mind. Trust me, it’s worth it!!!! Best wishes to you all!!!

Due to the lack of Doctors to treat my condition in my area, I learned of this app and after verifying that they only match you with doctors in your state, I was extremely pleased. The doctor called right on time and he was very knowledgeable. He also advised that should I have any issues at all, to call the customer service number within the app and they will get in touch with him in case the pharmacist needs additional info. Well, that’s exactly what happened. Because the app is based in CA when a doctor sends in the electronic script, the location automatically defaults to the app’s location, not the doctor’s and the pharmacist refuses to fill it because they think it came from out of state. Then when they ask for a number to confirm the script, that’s when you find out the “customer service” number is just a number with recordings telling you to open a ticket. All you get from there is an automated reply and ZERO follow up. The “refunds” they guarantee you should you cancel a visit or are not able to get a script suddenly gets changed to “future credits” and they refuse to refund your money to your debit card. This is very disappointing considering the doctors are very good. I’m now having to file a report with my bank. I’m writing this review so others don’t have to find out the hard way like I did.
