Directions

  • 5071268 - 23 oz
    1. Turn the nozzle to spray-on position.
    2. Spray the product directly onto glass, one section at a time. 3. Wipe with a clean towel to remove dirt & grime.
    3. Do a final wipe with the dry side of the towel to leave a steak-free, water-beading coating. For best results, allow an hour before exposing to rain/water.
    4. Turn nozzle to X position. For dirty surfaces, reapply as necessary. Recommended for exterior vehicle glass only; not for use on clear plastics or painted surfaces.

It's been over 2 decades since I have purchased rain x. I had to go out of town to take my father to a doctor's appointment and knew that there was rain in the forecast. Now that I'm in my late 40s with diabetes my eyes aren't that great anymore. I remembered that rain x used to prevent rain from being a hindrance on your ability to see the road,so I purchased the two in one rain x windshield cleaner and rain propellant. It was even easier to apply than it was 27 years ago! It's still a great product and I was able to see the highway and all the construction no problem.

Fine in a pinch

This version of Rain-X worked ok for 1 drive but faded much more quickly than normal Rain-X. If you need something in a pinch, it does fine but definitely recommend regular Rain-X for normal use.

I bought this to clean our outside glass windows, car windows, and bathroom mirrors. It cleans beautifully however it does not repel water or rain. I will probably try the regular rain X, which is strictly for repellent only without the added cleaner.
