   Raya is a beautiful name. I first saw it in Raya and The Last Dragon, and now, looking at the meaning, I think the name is very fitting for the character. I think this is a great choice for a name; it sound adventurous, and means ‘a loyal friend’, which, in these stressful times, I think we all need. Raya is a wonderful name 🙂

   Incredible name in my opinion! Yes in Russia we have name Raisa, which is full name and short nickname is Raya, but I don’t like Raisa, only short version, and after cartoon we decided to name our daughter Raya. She should be born at December of this year! Im so glad this name is incredible and rare.

   My husband really liked the name Riley but it’s very popular and rhymes with our last name. We watched the movie Raya and the Last Dragon and we liked the ring of the name. We had other names picked out but couldn’t agree on one we both liked. Raya was the only one we both liked. We did a name generator on a website and this name came up.
