cmann C How do I properly adjust the rear adjustable sight on my revolver? I have never touched it since I purchased the gun and wonder if I need to. If you are shooting low, move the sight up. If you are shooting to the right, move the sight to the left. If its one of the sights adjustable with a flat screwdriver, the elevation is adjusted up (counter clockwise) and down (clockwise). The windage is clockwise to move the sight right, counterclockwise to move it left. #3 · Jun 13, 2011 Should I be setting the gun on a rest to properly sight it in? #4 · Jun 13, 2011 It's awkward (read: inaccurate) aligning sights without using a bench rest. If you have a laser boresight tool you can get a pretty good feel for how your sights are currently aligned, and you can usually make a fairly accurate first cut. Just remember FORS..front opposite rear same.
