Drying the Harvesting Lavender
Come check out how we dry our lavender. Just as they have done for many centuries, we hand cut our lavender, bundle them, and then hang them upside down in our shop and basement (at the ceiling). So when you arrive at the shop be sure to look up and breath. The scent is amazing - so beneficial, very relaxing.
Reviews
We found this farm on our way to Cleveland and it was such a wonderful find! We loved the gardens of lavender and flowers; so beautiful! The little shop had lots of lovely quality gifts and culinary items. Loved the lavender lemonade and pancakes! Oh

We really love this lavender farm! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Love the gift shop with a huge variety of lavender products. The vast majority of items in the shop are produced onsite. Very cool farm.

What a charming farm! Lots of herbs @ flowering plants for sale outside along with beautiful gardens and a sweet little shop with lots of lavender options inside. So much fun!

The Farm & Farmers
Red Oak Lavender Farm LLC is owned by David and Tina. We were the first largest farm to be successful at growing lavender in fields at a large scale (stated by UGA). Lavender is not suppose to grow in Georgia with all the wrong environment for them - Georgia red class soil, large amount of rainfall, high humidity, and long growing season with intense sunshine. But we figured out how with a lot of sweat and tears over 14 years. Our happy lavenders now grow large and wide here in the South climate.
We also grow a large variety for flowers as well, so we have something blooming from spring through till autumn. With our fresh flowers and lavenders we provide fresh cut flowers on the weekends, you-pick lavender in June, you-pick Dahlias from June - July and September - October. Of course all blooms dependent on the weather.
This is our passion to produce the best flowers and miracle lavender.

After Blooms
Many ask what we do after the blooms are gone in late fall and winter. We still stay very busy taking our dried flowers and lavenders and create works of art for your home with wreaths, sprays, and resin work to have available for purchases. We do not ship our wreath made with our dried flowers since shipping cost is as much as the wreath, but they are available in our shop and at amazing prices, since we make them here at our farm and no shipping cost from maker to shop.
The holiday season is a great time to add a special touch to your decor with our wreaths that will be the envy all your visitors.

Dog Policy
We do Not allow pets at the farm.
We have chickens and also have a lot of bees here at the farm - honeybees and bumble bees (they love lavender and flowers).
*We do allow certified service dogs. Please check in at the shop when you arrive or reach out to us ahead of time. To keep things peaceful for our chickens, since our chickens view all canines as predators, we kindly ask that service dogs stay away from the chicken coop. Our eggs are donated to families at Jeremiah's Place- batter moms and their children who rely on them for meals-so protecting our chickens help support this important cause.
The ADA does not consider emotional support animals as service animals. We appreciate your understanding and wish we didn't have to enforce this policy.
