The first item in the Filter menu is always your last used filter (Ctrl + F, Mac: Command + F), and clicking it will allow you to re-apply it with the same settings as before.
By holding down the Alt key (Mac: Option) while clicking on it, you will get the dialog box of the filter where you can change its setting.
You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Alt + F (Mac: Command + Option + F) to bring up the dialog box.
