   Reed was the name my parents had picked out for me if I had been a boy, so that’s where I first heard it, but it is such a perfect combination of my husband and my interests. Obviously it rhymes with read, which is my favorite hobby. It’s also a nature name, and my husband is very outdoorsy. And he especially liked that it is deer spelled backwards!
