Get ready to relive all the legendary moments.
TelevisionnetflixPose FXIt's been almost a year since the premiere of Pose's season two on FX. A whole year! Can you believe? The drama series, which made history for its casting of black and brown queer and trans people in recurring roles, brought us all back to the ballroom floor last June, showing us what was next for Blanca Evangelista, Pray Tell, Candy Ferocity, and Elektra ... well ... we aren't sure which name she was using at the time. And the premiere was freaking good.
Now, you can relive it all over again.
Today, Netflix has announced that season two of the critically-lauded show will begin streaming in the U.S. on June 11. Yep, not too long before you can watch and rewatch your favorite Elektra reads at will. And though we would generally say this is the perfect opportunity for you to refresh yourself on what all happened before season three hits, this time we aren't so sure.

Pose was renewed for a third season, only one episode into its second. That first episode touted the show's best ratings ever at the time, outperforming the show's season one debut. And, just at a time that the creators decided to go all-in on ballroom.
That said, though it was renewed, Pose is not likely to have gotten much work done on season three. Though it was clear on social media that the cast had reunited, and that the writers were doing their work, it would seem to us that much of the time that the show should have been in actual production was after quarantine set in. We can't say for sure but, we have a strong feeling that the show is going to have to be pushed back.
Until then, we'll always have Netflix. (P.S. If you haven't seen season two yet, we worked really hard to not spoil anything. Refresh yourself on what happened in season one here.)
