You can change the name of your AirPods using your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. When you’re signed in to the same Apple Account on multiple devices, the new name is updated across devices.

  1. Wear your AirPods, and make sure they’re connected to your device.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • iPhone or iPad: Go to the Settings app , then tap the name of your AirPods near the top of the screen. Tap the current name, then enter a new name.

    • Mac: Go to the System Settings app , click the name of your AirPods in the sidebar (you may need to scroll down), then enter a new name.
