Rent A (Really Shy!) Girlfriend Returns After A Long Hiatus

After a long wait of 14 months, Reiji Miyajima's Rent A (Really Shy!) Girlfriend manga is finally set for a return. Here's all the information regarding the release of the new chapters.

Rent A Girlfriend is a big name in the Japanese manga industry. The manga was written by famous Japanese writer and illustrator Reiji Miyajima. The first volume of the series came out in February 2017, and it's currently running its 25th volume. Nearly three years after the release of Rent A Girlfriend, another spin-off, Rent A (Really Shy) Girlfriend, started in June 2020. But the spin-off manga was put on hiatus for 14 months, and there was no news of its continuity until now.

After the huge success of the manga series, its anime adaptation was taken into consideration. TMS Entertainment started working on the project, and the episodes of the series began releasing in July 2020. After the release of anime episodes, the manga of Rent A girlfriend got even more recognition from the fans. Only 12 episodes came out till now, and you can watch those episodes on Crunchyroll.

Rent A Really Shy Girlfriend Returns After A Break

Just recently, the official Twitter account of Reiji Miyajima, the writer of the manga, announced that Rent A (Really Shy!) Girlfriend manga will resume from March 6th onwards. The new chapters will come out after a long wait of 14 months. So it's big news for fans who waited for new chapters every week and were left in the middle for so long. The new chapters will be available on the Kodansha Magazine Pocket app just like before.

The first compiled book of Rent A (Really Shy!) Girlfriend was published in September 2020. After that, the second compiled book volume of the manga was published back in February 2021, and now the third volume is set for publication in May 2022.
