You can probably superglue it :s13: But you should know you can't make that crack disappear. Pony up for a new replacement from a stockist ... or try the scrapyards. I'm sure it's easy to find parts for your CS. jittery

On the natural side, yes it maybe cheap if you are heng. You call and the scrapyard have it. So go to a scrapyard, ask for it and found it. But if suaysuay call a few or go a few yet cannpt find any, consider ur petrol cost plus your precious time involved... Hhhmmm up to each to judge if the finding is worthy thou. Really depend on how common your ride is to know if can find a 2nd hand piece. But please manage expectation given it used yet again, the price of 1 can be of a good deal. It really what you want then. C

No mater what glue, super glue, "special" glue, whatever glue, it's just a bond between the crack line, it does not make the crack line go away. Unless you're selling or scrapping your car soon (which I doubt you are since you just bought this current car, yes?), I doubt you'll want to live with it long-term. V

Rain never affect the fuse or the lighting. Finally decided to go scrapyard to look for one. After a few workshops, managed to find a solitary sunny in the scrapyard with the RH rear lamp left!!! The scrapyard wanted $200 without installation!!! Finally, went JB to replace both rear lamp for RM395, though not oem, but better looking. bendi85

Before you start the repair job, you have to make sure that it has not rain for the past few days OR you have cover the crack area. It has to be dry inside or you have since covered the crack area. You can use epoxy. THe two tubes and mix together type. When dry, it is like " cement", hard. You will have to take out the light for the light to be in horizontal position. Otherwise when apply the epoxy, it might drip if apply too much. Applying by taking up small amount and dipping slowly along the cracks. Proceed along the whole crack. Let the epoxy "flow" in and let dry. Get the fast dry type. It should be "dry" in 15 minutes , where you can put back the light. Fully dry and full strength will be about 3 hours. If the amount used along the cracks is correct, the bump will be minimum. Hope my explanation helps You must log in or register to reply here.
