Someone wants a melon, but the only way to get one, as far as the wiki says, is to grow it which takes 12 days. Yet the quest only lasts 2 days. Is this supposed to happen? Or is there another way to obtain a melon? < > Showing 1-5 of 5 comments DarkStarKnight View Profile View Posts 24 Jun, 2017 @ 1:12pm Think that quest pops up occasionally #1 Smidge204 View Profile View Posts 24 Jun, 2017 @ 1:22pm I think you can occasionally buy one from the traveling saleslady? But yeah, the majority of the quests require you to have the thing beforehand or it's just not feasible. Save a few of everything I suppose. #2 Yazite View Profile View Posts 24 Jun, 2017 @ 1:46pm I see, thanks for the advice. I'm still relatively new to this game. #3 Nakos View Profile View Posts 24 Jun, 2017 @ 4:51pm If you're referring to the quests from the message board outside of Pierre's store, they yes, they expire in 48 hours. If you're referring to Demetrius' quest, that one comes in the mail and doesn't expire.Either way, you should always save some of your crops so you can do quests. Additionally, as you progress in the game, you'll build tools to process basic crops into Artisianal goods (which are worth more) so you'll want to save some for that too. #4 Bad Aim Bodyshot Barry View Profile View Posts 24 Jun, 2017 @ 7:46pm if you get a quest in the mail do NOT worry about it if you cant get it to them (ANY quest you get in the mail has NO timer) #5 < > Showing 1-5 of 5 comments Per page: 1530 50 Stardew Valley > General Discussions > Topic Details Date Posted: 24 Jun, 2017 @ 1:08pmPosts: 5 Discussions Rules and Guidelines Close
