Resident Evil TV Series Release Date, Time, And Episode Count

Nothing can beat the Resident Evil franchise when it comes to dark releases. After making us quake in our boots for all these years with several great movies and games, the franchise is returning with a brand new television series. Although it was announced back in 2019 that a television show was in production, it wasn't until Netflix Geeked Week 2022 that we got to see a trailer.

The upcoming series will be completely independent of past Resident Evil releases, meaning you can jump straight in without any prior knowledge. Production of the show was put on hold for over eight months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the release time is now almost upon us.

The new Resident Evil TV series will release officially on Thursday, July 14th, 2022, on Netflix. There will be a total of eight episodes in the series, with each episode almost one hour long. The episodes will be released in bulk, meaning no weekly releases.

The TV show will follow the usual Netflix release schedule, that is, 12:00 AM PST. As Netflix follows a concurrent release schedule for all its shows, here's the time the series will follow in different locations.
