Delightful breakfast courtyard in an open space with natural lighting, greenery, clean-contemporary look with Aussie vibes. The service is swift, food is palatable (quite tasty for my Reuben Sandwich, although the Croque Madame looks boring but taste ok ) & the coffee is excellent. Certainly a place worth visiting.

We decided to get the Beef Reuben at PUNCH today! The dish comes in the form of sandwiches made from toasted rye bread and containing sauerkraut (pickled raw cabbage), corned beef and emmental cheese.

The sauerkraut was an interesting addition to the sandwich, as it was slightly crunchy, and comes with a distinctive sourish taste which contrasted quite sharply with that of the beef. On the other hand, we felt that the beef was a tad too salty, probably because corned beef was used. Nonetheless, it was still a great breakfast sandwich overall and it is decently-priced at $14++.

PUNCH can get pretty crowded at lunchtime, so do make a reservation if you are heading down in a big group. However, there is no need for a reservation if you are heading down early in the morning!

[Clarke Quay] Quaint brunch spot at @punch.gram with fluffy Earl Grey Pancakes ($16) with white chocolate macadamia crumble and poached pear. The tea flavour was subtly infused and went great with the sweetness of the pear. If you are craving a Reuben Sandwich, you ought to try the one at @punch.gram. I consider theirs to be one of the best ones around. It may not be massive but the balanced composition of corned beef, emmentaler cheese and sauerkraut on light rye, plus the consistent quality in taste and presentation are what I like so much about their sandwich.

This is one elegant Reuben that's tastefully done in every sense of the word. The ratio of meat to sauerkraut to gruyere and to bread, is spot-on in my opinion. I especially love how thick the slices of corned beef are; and in contrast, how thin, the toasted rye. The portion is exactly right - well, for your truly anyway. It left me feeling full but thinking of when I can return for my next one.

Bouncy oversized Tiger Prawns and seared Scallops (not complaining!) on my Garlic and Chilli Aglio Olio, they've also incorporated an extra touch of savoriness with a dash of soy sauce. My lunch companions also enjoyed the crusty Reuben Sandwich (featured in the background; 14bucks) very much. Punch is definitely fast reigning as one of my favourite frequents in town.
