When in Liquify (Filter > Liquify), check the “Advanced Mode” box to reveal the advanced options. Click on the “Reconstruct…” button in the Reconstruct Options to open up a slider that will allow you to gradually reduce any manipulation you’ve done up to that point. It’s like a “Fade” for Liquify.
