I would like to know why “(rgb(255, 0, 0))!” is included in the question? What does it mean?

I got the correct result without using it but i still want to know what “(rgb(255, 0, 0))” mean on this question?

He uses RGBA, that’s a kind of type to write color. You can control the quantity of colors, and the Alpha of the colors.

See: rgba(a, b, c, d);

The a, b and c are channels of RGB colors - Red, Green and Blue. The d - and last element - is the Alpha channels, here you can put a number between 0 and 1 to describe the transparency and opacity of the colors.

Example: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5); Here we have 255 of red, 255 of green and 255 of blue, this color is white. Alpha of 0.5, it’s half of opacity.

Can you get it now?!

Sorry about my english.

Actually he uses rgb(255, 0, 0); only. I told you another thing.

RGB is only Red, Green and Blue. RGBA is Red, Green, Blue AND Alpha. Sorry about my confusion.

That is if you can’t see the text shadowing.

Yes, it turns the shadow red, so it’s easier to see!
