“Riverdale,”the mature take to the classic Archie comics, picks up where it left off in its fifth season Wednesday, Aug. 11 at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT) on The CW. You can also stream the show on FuboTV (7-day free trial).

After shutting down abruptly due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, this week marks the second premiere of Season 5. The core cast of “Riverdale” consists of KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse and Madelaine Petsch. As more characters have been introduced into the Archie-universe, “Riverdale” has grown into a suspenseful series starring high school students who have come a long way since Riverdale High School.

And the series isn’t over yet. Season 6 of “Riverdale” will premiere by the end of the year, according to media outlets.
