Hi I’m Leroy and I’m a student at RMIT.

Today I’m going to show you how to use the self service password reset tool.

So what do you do if you forget your password or your password is expired? Well, with a few quick easy steps you’ll be able to change your password online and get on with your work.

So let’s check it out.

To begin, click on the address bar on your web browser and type 'www.rmit.edu.au/password'. By the way, this will work on any web browser and also on any mobile devices.

Type in your student number and your last name and the number you see in the image. Now it will give you the option to send the code to your mobile phone or to your e-mail address.

So click on 'send to my mobile phone now'. And once you have received the code, type it in the code box.

Click 'submit code'. Now it’s going to give the option to change your password.

Type in a new password, confirm your password.

Once you’ve got the green tick, click on 'change password'. It will change your password and very soon you’ll get the message that your password has been changed successfully..

Click continue. Now your password is sorted!

You can log into myRMIT, check your e-mails, connect to the WiFi and access an RMIT computer.

I hope you found this video helpful.

For more information, check out myCommunity or contact the RMIT service and support centre. Thanks.
