If you’ve been following me for awhile, then you know that I’ve been maintaining a fairly strict keto diet since November 2018 and have a long history with low carb dieting. You might find it surprising that I haven’t really eaten radishes much even though they are low carb and keto friendly.
It wasn’t until it was mentioned in a keto Facebook group that “radishes taste just like potatoes!” that I got excited to try them. Before we go any further, they do NOT taste like potatoes. But, once roasted, they also don’t taste anything like raw radishes.
It’s like some cauliflower recipes – if you like cauliflower then Loaded Cauliflower Bites are a great alternative to loaded potatoes skins. But, if you don’t like cauliflower, you’re going to be let down. I hope that you enjoy roasted radishes and that it opens up a lot of delicious alternatives for you!
